Earlier this month we published significant updates to Parascript.com. This includes both surface level changes and deep structural changes. Both are designed to help you find the right content, quickly, from any device you are on.
This site utilizes cookies to help tailor your experience. I’ll explain what that means (and doesn’t mean) in greater detail. We are very serious about your privacy.
Why the changes?
The major changes are acknowledgement of substantial changes in consumption behavior, and expectations relative to the research and buying cycle, combined with a broadening of our product portfolio. As a partner-led company, we strive to identify, educate, and support end-users in finding the best recognition solution for their needs; then align that user with the most qualified partner.
- changes in consumption behavior – broadly speaking we understand that more people want to access more content via a mobile device or a tablet. Parascript.com is now built using responsive design, adapting its presentation and navigation structure to whatever device you are using.
- changes in the buying cycle – according to recent research by CEB and Google (PDF), 57% of the business-to-business buying cycle is completed prior to a discussion with a salesperson, meaning people prefer to do a lot more up-front research. We want to help facilitate this with quality content provided in a variety of formats.
- changes in our offering portfolio – it is no secret that Parascript is broadening beyond technology license into business solutions, distributed by our partner network. This new site introduces clearer messaging, solutions pages, and navigation that helps you identify and find the most relevant part of the site for you, faster.
We sincerely hope that these changes help you get the right information, when you want it, from whatever device you are using.
You use cookies – what’s the deal?
Like most websites, Parascript.com employs cookies – however in a very limited fashion. If you are using Chrome (most of our traffic has migrated to the Chrome browser) you can have fun with the Ghostery App, which shows you what utilities are embedded on websites. We use 3; Google analytics (website statistics), Husbpot (communication platform that allows us to custom-tailor content and manages our subscriptions), and SnapEngage (our live chat widget). The blog uses a few more (part of the social sharing widget).
These are very non-invasive utilities, which help us deliver a better experience. This is miniscule, compared to other sites you may visit daily. Here’s what Ghostery shows for Parascript.com vs our local CBS afilliate (there were over 65 trackers, which ran off the screen).
Our privacy policy is pretty simple. We don’t sell your information. Period. We use your information to provide content that you may find interesting on the website, as part of our monthly newsletter, and with announcements such as new products or events.
While these comunications are infrequent, and hopefully informational, you can always opt out. If you don’t wish to receive these communications, just scroll to the bottom of the email and click “Unsubscribe”. We’ll never email you again unless you opt-in (we physically can’t, Hubspot won’t let us).
We hope you find the new site useful and informative. More changes are coming in the next several weeks, including closer integration with this blog, more video demos, and access to technical support.
Feel free to visit it now at www.parascript.com or let us know what you think at [email protected].
