March 23, 2015 – Participants from across the U.S. as well as local Coloradoans attended the Parascript Partner Training Workshop held March 18-20, 2015 in Longmont, Colorado. The workshop offered detailed training, tips, and recommendations on Parascript FormXtra Capture (FXC).

Mark Gallagher, VP of Sales at Parascript, kicked off the workshop with introductions and an informative overview. The Parascript Team—Chris Hill with Mike O’Dell who troubleshot questions during the labs—guided participants through the progression of skills and capabilities needed to effectively leverage FormXtra features. While in training, participants gained hands-on experience through multiple labs and exercises. The FormXtra Capture solution offers structured, semi-structured, unstructured, and field-based data processing of machine print, constrained and unconstrained handprint, and cursive. It supports our partner clients’ high-volume, complex document processing needs, and delivers flexibility for processing rules and workflows.

“It was a great turnout, and I’ve been getting terrific feedback from participants,” Mark Gallagher said. “We were all energized by the large attendance, valuable discussions and enthusiasm of our partners. We are already planning for the next workshop.”

During the workshop, both small and large organizations learned how to implement FXC. Organizations benefit immediately from the level of investment necessary compared with most other capture products for a wide range of features and functionality. In addition to the out-of-the-box capabilities, the workshop touched on FormXtra’s .NET API that provides unprecedented control over forms processing definitions, routines, and output. For users, this means a single solution that can process many types of business and office documents, and makes extracting key data simple and scalable. 

Early feedback included comments such as, “The class was very helpful in explaining parts of the software that I have been working with. Learned new tools, too!” Another, “While the views are majestic, I found the training to be incredible…The training has helped me achieve a much better understanding and a higher confidence level with the product.”

The Parascript team looks forward to continuing to provide regular training workshops to answer the high demand.
